Paprika got it’s first “shout out” today on Brown Sugar Design’s blog! I couldn’t be more excited because Whitney and Jonathan are just the best. Aside from being great people, they are true paper geniuses! In the last year they’ve designed quite a few things for me, from save the dates to Paprika’s branding and I’m always amazed at their ability to produce such beautiful designs!

Thanks for everything Whitney and Jonathan, I can’t wait to work more together!

I love these Pop Up Placemats!! Great for an engagement party, rehearsal dinner or even small sit down reception dinner, they even have a built in seating card. They are made out of recycled paper and can go right into your compost pile when you’re finished.

Life at the beach

The ocean is continually inspiring. The sound of waves crashing on the shore fills me with joy, calms my spirit and grounds me. It truly is the ultimate “eco-chic” wedding destination as no one can set the tone for romance better than Mother Nature. Here are a few beach inspired photos to get you in the mood.

This wedding was so spectacular I had to show more than just one shot. I LOVE the dress and the muted colors inspired from the sea. Check out all the pics at Leigh Millers blog.

I’ll leave you with this shot. Michele saw the sofa on the beach on her way to meet up with the couple. She rushed to pick them up in hopes the red sofa hadn’t been moved. Sometimes the photo gods are on your side.

…truly. My husband thinks I’m a quack because I collect cards every chance I get. I really can’t get enough of it – especially since it’s such a brilliant way to show off your personality when it comes to the big day. And with the use of soy ink and recycled or post-consumer waste paper it’s a match made in eco-chic heaven! Here are some I’ve drooled over.
