My sister sent me these super cute wooden utensils from Paper + Cup and I noticed they have a customized ice cream spoon! This just makes me even more excited about having a gelato stand at a wedding. How cute to offer your guests a scoop of fresh gelato with a customized spoon to remember your wedding. The utensil set would be great favors as well or darling for a shower.

I became quite the connoisseur and could tell by looking at their pistachio if it was worth trying. Imagine my delight when I discovered two new gelaterias in Seattle.

Bottega Italiana has a store near Pike Place and a new location near Greenlake. They offer the very best of year round and seasonal flavors using only the best organic ingredients. After several visits I’d have to say their pistachio is truly amazing.

Holly Smith, the super talented chef at Cafe Juanita has created Poco Carretto Gelato – a traveling organic gelato cart which will be at farmers markets this summer. I can’t wait to try some of her ingenious flavors.

So — why all this gelato talk you ask? Both Bottega Italiana and Poco Carretto take their gelato on the road to events. I can’t think of a better way to thank guests than a nice scoop of fresh, organic gelato!

The ocean is continually inspiring. The sound of waves crashing on the shore fills me with joy, calms my spirit and grounds me. It truly is the ultimate “eco-chic” wedding destination as no one can set the tone for romance better than Mother Nature. Here are a few beach inspired photos to get you in the mood.

This wedding was so spectacular I had to show more than just one shot. I LOVE the dress and the muted colors inspired from the sea. Check out all the pics at Leigh Millers blog.

I’ll leave you with this shot. Michele saw the sofa on the beach on her way to meet up with the couple. She rushed to pick them up in hopes the red sofa hadn’t been moved. Sometimes the photo gods are on your side.
